The snow in three foot drifts has lain

Though stricken down with Asian ‘flu

Amidst the suffering that I knew

Who will shed a tear for me?
Who will shed a tear for me as I am put to sleep?
Not you, the one who bred me, even though I earned my
keep
Not you, the one who bought me, he’s a fighter it was
claimed,
I tried so hard to please you, my body now so maimed.
No good to you, you pass me on, from hand to hand I go
Trying oh so very hard, it was not to be so
You see it’s just not in me, it was a family I needed,
To play, to love, to run with joy, oh how I begged and
pleaded
With eyes so full of sorrow, but my looks they let me
down,
They come, some stop and look at me, and then I see
the frown
The scars, they show, but they can’t know, the dog I
am inside
Why won’t they look beyond my skin to see how much
I’ve cried

Die Angst vor Feuerwerk behandeln
In dem folgenden Artikel geht es um das Thema Angst vor
Feuerwerk bei Hunden und anderen Haustieren. Ein Tierarzt erklärt, wie es zu
der Angst kommt, und er erläutert, wie sie behandelt werden kann (Verhaltenstherapien,
Medikamente, natürliche Methode von Animal Health und Thundershirt).

Angst vor lauten Geräuschen
Angst vor lauten Geräuschen ist eine natürliche Angst, die
direkt mit dem Überlebensmechanismus in Zusammenhang steht. Beinah jedes Tier
reagiert, wenn es ein lautes Geräusch hört – manche mehr als andere. Wenn ein
Tier wiederholt schlechte Erfahrungen mit Lärm gemacht hat, oder häufig durch
Krach erschrocken wurde, kann echte Angst vor lauten Geräuschen entstehen. Die
hiermit verbundene Panik ist häufig groß.
Angst vor Feuerwerk und Lärm
Sobald das Jahresende in Sicht ist, beginnt auch die Zeit
der Feuerwerke und Böller wieder. Viele Tiere haben Angst vor dem Knallen und
können mit Panik reagieren. Leider kann wirkliche Angst vor Feuerwerk mit
keinem Medikament genommen werden, aber es gibt Mittel, die Ihr Haustier
beruhigen können. Mit Hilfe dieser Mittel kann die Zeit um Silvester für Ihr
Haustier so angenehm wie möglich gestaltet werden. Wenn Sie keine
Verhaltenstherapie auf Basis einer Feuerwerks-CD einsetzen möchten, so sind Sie
auf Medikamente oder andere Therapien angewiesen. Hierbei gibt es verschiedene
Möglichkeiten, die aber sicherlich nicht für jedes Tier gleichermaßen geeignet
sind.

January 25th is when we brought him home
At nine weeks old, too small for a bone.
But he gained a pound every week
This pup gregarious, not shy or meek.
It didn’t take long to teach him “sit”.
And in the neighborhood he’s quite a hit.
Being a dog he loves to play
Better than learning how to stay.
Now all in all for six month old
He’s earned the silver, soon to be gold!

It was a beautiful day in the mountains
Fresh snow lay cool on the forest floor
Giant Sequoias pierced the winter blue
The trip was all we had hoped for, and more
As we drove down the mountain highway
and your Golden form came into view

Sicherheit
Elisa und Finja haben einen Microchip, sind bei TASSO
registriert und an ihren Geschirren tragen sie die TASSO-Marken. Als
zusätzliche Sicherung hatte ich noch eine Marke, auf der meine Handy-Nummer
eingraviert war. Leider war die Gravur im Laufe der Zeit unleserlich geworden.
Auf der Suche nach einer Alternative, stieß ich im Internet auf die Seite
TierPerso.de. Die Marken sind zum einen optisch ansprechend, zum anderen
beinhalten sie auch ein Foto des Tieres. Besonders praktisch finde ich, dass im
Ernstfall der Finder eines Hundes durch die TierPerso-Marke gleich 5
Möglichkeiten hat, den Halter zu kontaktieren:
- Anruf direkt beim Halter (Nummer auf der Marke).
- Anruf bei unserer 24h Hotline für entlaufene Tiere: TierPerso ist immer da und sorgt dafür, dass der Hund schnellstmöglich sicher zum Halter zurückkommt.
- Scannen des QR-Codes: Der Halter wird sofort per Email benachrichtigt.
- Aufrufen der individuellen Webadresse: Der Halter wird sofort per Email benachrichtigt.
- Anruf bei der 24h Hotline von TASSO / Deutsches Haustierregister und Identifikation anhand der Transponder-Nummer: Kein aufwändiges Auslesen der Transponder-Nr bei Tierarzt oder Polizei mehr nötig. So ist der Hund schneller wieder zurück beim Halter.
Die Marken habe ich nicht mit dem mitgelieferten kleinen
Ring an den Geschirren befestigt, weil derartige Befestigungen bei meinen
Hunden in der Vergangenheit nie länger als ein paar Tage gehalten haben,
sondern (zusammen mit TASSO-Marke, Steuermarke etc.) mit einem handelsüblichen
stabilen Schlüsselring.
Inzwischen tragen Elisa und Finja ihre Marken einige Wochen
und bisher zeigen sich noch keine Abnutzungen. Ich kann die Marken also
empfehlen.

A wagon of love

They were not neutered, they had no tags, and there were no posters or ads about the missing dogs. Clearly, these dogs had irresponsible owners, and it seems to me that these dogs were abandoned. Then she put up a post on Craigslist about the dogs, and her post will make you cheer! Read it below!
