Off-topic - wood pigeons

A pair of wood pigeons is breeding in the tree outside my bedroom window. Today, I saw that the chicks are hatched. I hope that these chicks will survive. Last year the chicks were killed by a crow, shortly before they were fully fledged (unfortunately I had to witness it).
