The vet

On land and in the sea and air

God ruleth over all

But He intrusted to man's care

All creatures great and small

Not much is said about the vet

Their praises sung by few

Not many honors do they get

But they are doctors, too

It takes a very special kind

To be a DVM

To dedicate both heart and mind

God must be proud of them.
