Dogs

Big and small, short and tall,

we can’t help but love you all.

Who picks who? We will never know,

but there’s always something that says to us

“Take me home”.

 

Then you arrive, this bundle of fluff,

we ooh and ahh, we cuddle and fuss.

You are cute, you are cheeky,

you bark, play, pee and chew till you’re sleepy.

 

And that’s when we realize,

our home is your home,

an right from the start,

that moment we first met you,

you had stolen our heart.
