Missing you at Christmastime (8)

I knew the day you left me, in pain and disbelief,

that all the happiness we shared, would help me through my grief.

And when I stop and think about, the Christmases we knew,

my heart is warmed and comforted, by memories of you.

And though I miss you here on Earth, while you're in Heaven above,

I'll spend the days of Christmas, uplifted by your love.
