This story is something you should be happy about
because according to Pope Francis, animals can go to heaven after all.
Here’s how it came about. Pope Francis talked to a boy
who is mourning the death of his dog. He told him not to worry because animals
can go to heaven.
His exact words, were … “one day, we will see our
animals again in the eternity of Christ,” and “paradise is open to all of God’s
creatures.”
A lot of people are confused because there is a
long-standing theological position that animals don’t have souls, meaning, they
just stop exiting after their deaths – though this is not a doctrinal
statement.
“If the Pope did mean that all animals go to heaven,
then the implication is that animals have a soul, Christine Gutleben, the
senior director of faith outreach at the Humane Society of the United States,
told the Times.
And if that’s true, then we ought to seriously
consider how we treat them. We have to admit that these are sentient beings,
and they mean something to God.”

In 2014 the European Court of Justice (ECJ) decided that normally no copyrights are violated if website operators use so-called framed links. This happens for example when YouTube videos on a website are included.
