Spread your mystical wings

and take your flight.

No need to feel

any sense of fright,

For you shall enter

Into a place of love.

 

It breaks my heart knowing

that you're forever gone.

Yet the beautiful memories

shall remain here within me.

 

I realize that I must

carry on and be strong.

Until the day that we

do once again meet.

to set you free.

To allow you to spread

your wings and soar.

a kingdom,

that's filled with peace.

Where your pain & suffering

shall be no more.

 

So spread our wings

and take your flight.

For your work on earth

Is now over and done.

the brillant light.

and soar high like an eagle.
