The Beautiful Trail

I wonder if the Lone Eyes are watching

As he follows the trail to the sky,

For the night bird now has come calling

He is gone. Here am I.

 

Homeward now does he journey

With a rainbow to guide his way

To the place of the white-cloud eagles

Where he'll find everlasting day.

 

There is beauty before him as he wanders,

There is beauty behind him, without fail,

There is beauty as he gently passes

For he is on the Beautiful Trail.
